2015 Summer Series – Principles of Bible Study – Sermon

God has made Himself known through His creation. (Psa. 19-1-6; Rom. 1:20), and revelation, the Bible. But most emphatically though His Son, Jesus Christ                        (John 10:30; 14:9)

To follow means to be a disciple. Jesus invites everyone (Mt. 11:28-30). Following is a call to be like Jesus (Mt. 10:24-25). Being His disciple must become one’s top priority. (Mt. 10:37-39)

The 1st disciples were called to share the gospel with everyone everywhere. (Mt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-16). We are both the result and the continuation of that goal. Because we love Him who first loved us, we take that love to others.
